This heart-shaped glass embodies the charm of Showa retro, a nostalgic style inspired by Japan’s late Showa era (1926-1989). Bold colours, playful shapes, and functional yet fun designs defined the period, giving rise to whimsical forms and the emergence of kawaii culture—the concept of cuteness that continues to shape Japanese design today.

Made using a mould based on an original 1960s design, this glass recreates a shape once popular in kissaten (Japanese coffee houses) of the era. Available in clear or a bright pink carefully matched to the original colours of that time. With its adorable heart shape and retro vibe, this glass is ideal for cocktails, spritzes, or even a boozy ice cream float!
