Delivery & Collection
UK Delivery
All UK orders are shipped via DPD Next Day (tracked) as standard. Orders over £100 are delivered free of charge; orders under £100 incur a delivery fee of £6.95. Once your order has been dispatched, a tracking email will be sent so you can see exactly when it’s due to arrive.
If you won’t be home, you can manage delivery preferences using the DPD app, including leaving your order in a safe place or with a neighbour.
Age-Restricted Items
Some items, including alcohol and bladed products, require proof of age (18+) on delivery. These items cannot be left in a safe place, but may be left with a neighbour over 18.
Click & Collect – Shoreditch Store
You can choose to collect your order from our Shoreditch store. Click & Collect is free and orders are usually ready the same day. We’ll email you when your order is ready to collect. Please bring your order confirmation email with you.
International Orders
Currently, we only ship within the UK.

Returns & Exchange Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you’ve changed your mind, here’s what you can do:
Online Orders
Please notify us within 14 days of delivery that you’d like to return your order. You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging suitable for resale.
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Food and perishable items
- Opened consumables
- Gift cards
If you’d like to exchange an item, please return the item you don’t want first following our returns procedure, then place a new order for the replacement.
Please contact us by email at hello@shake-sound.co.uk before sending your return so we can authorise it and provide return instructions. Include your order number in all correspondence.
You are responsible for the cost of return postage. We recommend using a tracked and insured service, and please retain proof of postage in case the item is lost. The item remains your responsibility until it reaches us safely. Unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund if the return is lost or damaged in transit.
Once received and inspected, we’ll confirm by email if your refund has been approved. Refunds are made to your original payment method within 7 days of receiving the item back.

Items purchased online can also be returned in-store for a refund or exchange, subject to stock availability. Please bring the item in its original, unused condition along with your order confirmation email. In-store refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
We personally inspect every item before dispatch. In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us with photos within 48 hours of delivery. We will rectify the situation as quickly as possible for you.
Notes on Glassware
Vintage glassware may show natural signs of age or character (such as slight wear to gilding, small bubbles in the glass, colour variation, or tiny nicks). These are part of the item’s history and are not considered faults. We carefully inspect all vintage pieces before offering them for sale, selecting only the best examples. A full description is provided on each product page.
Handmade glassware may also have minor variations in size, shape, or small bubbles, which are a natural part of the craft and are also not considered faults.
In-store Purchases
We’re happy to offer exchanges or store credit within 7 days of purchase. Items must be unused, in their original packaging suitable for resale, and accompanied by a receipt.
Please note:
We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
The following are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or credited:
- Opened consumables (bitters, syrups, spirits, snacks etc.)
- Sale or discounted items
- Vintage items
- Items damaged or showing signs of use after purchase
- Items not in original condition or packaging
This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights under UK consumer law.
