Richard Brendon’s Optic collection celebrates centuries-old glassblowing techniques, where artisans skillfully shape molten glass to create its signature ribbed pattern. This traditional method gives every handcrafted piece a unique character and a beautifully tactile quality. The intricate ribbing catches and reflects light, while the smooth, polished base adds a sleek contrast. Together, they blend historic craftsmanship with contemporary design.

Care

Wash carafe by hand. Simply run the carafe under warm water with a little detergent and then place it gently on linen to drain before polishing a lint-free polishing cloth. Be careful not to let the carafe touch the sink, rings, or other washing up items as this can lead to chips in the glass, or even breakages.

The products in this collection are made with lead-free crystal which makes them resistant to clouding. If you do notice clouding on your glass then you will need to wash with water-softening, glass-specific detergents or even vinegar.
