Dark Drop Rum is a twice pot-distilled dark rum made from rich sugar cane molasses. It’s fermented with DropWorks’ Wild Trinity yeast, a unique in-house blend of three yeast strains developed to build complexity during fermentation. 

Dark Drop combines two carefully crafted distillations—one clean and refined, the other rich and ester-packed—to deliver the best of both worlds. Expect juicy blackcurrant alongside classic dark rum notes of liquorice and star anise, balanced with subtle hints of vanilla and coconut. Aged gently on American Oak chips for seven days, it gains rich vanilla and caramel depth. DropWorks proudly do not add sugar, glycerol, or flavourings—just a Drop of traditional caramel colouring to honour the deep, dark character of the style.
