These bitters are based on an early 20th-century recipe for a Campari-style aperitivo, reimagined and concentrated into bitters form. Sweet and bitter citrus notes lead the way, followed by a long bitter finish. Natural cochineal lends a deep, beautiful crimson colour. A few drops add an herbal, bitter edge to cocktails, enhancing their complexity.
